Portfolio Criteria

For Visual Arts Foundation, Video Game Art or TV & Game Animation:

Portfolio [pawrt-foh-lee-oh ]  An art portfolio is a collection of an artist’s or designer’s work that showcases their skill’s, creativity, and range of artistic abilities. It is typically used to present a body of work for evaluation, such as when applying for art school, jobs in the creative industry, or exhibition. 

VISUAL ART FOUNDATION / VIDEO GAME ART \ TV & GAME ANIMATION

All work must be original in fabrication and concept. Applicants are required to indicate their role if the submission is a result of a group project. Any works submitted that were influenced by another artist, such as master copies or pop-culture references, must be accompanied by proper citation.

  1. Art and/or design-based portfolio with 12-15 original pieces created within the last 3 years. 
  2. At least 6 pieces should display observation work, such as self-portraits, still life, landscape or architecture. 
  3. Display as many media as possible (pencil, charcoal, pastel, digital, etc)
  4. Work that represents your own interests and strengths.
  5. Work with color is highly recommended.
  6. Display 3D art in photographic form (if any)
