Meaghan Drisdelle

Meaghan Drisdelle, a native of Moncton, graduated high school in 2001. In 2002 she commenced her studies at the University of New Brunswick with the aim of becoming a high school English teacher. In 2006 Meaghan took a brief pause from university to explore her options overseas. She moved to Germany for a year to work as an au pair to three children whom she helped build their English speaking skills. While living in Germany, she was able to travel around Europe and discovered her passion for learning about different cultures and people. Upon returning to Canada, Meaghan continued her studies at St. Thomas University, where she graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in English literature. It was then that Meaghan decided to continue her exploration of different cultures and she moved to South Korea. She lived in South Korea teaching English as a Second Language for approximately 10 years. While in Korea, Meaghan taught a range of ages, from kindergarten students to businessmen hoping to improve English for work. In 2009 Meaghan returned home to Canada. She received her TESL certification in 2022 and began working for McKenzie College as an English language instructor.
