Our programs are created for individuals who wish to cultivate their passions and turn them into healthy sustainable careers. Our unique approach to learning helps prepare our students to navigate real-world projects while developing the skills and techniques needed to excel in their respective fields.

LANGUAGE

English For Academic Purposes (EAP)

12 weeks
EAP courses are 25 hours per week

Description:

If you want to learn public speaking skills, essay and report writing, and essential note-taking to help you function in English at a high level, then this is the course for you.

This program will help the Intermediate to advanced student with ambition to study at university and college, and those who need to fine-tune their communication skills in the workplace. This course is a recognized Pathway Program for admission at many local colleges and universities.

Please note: Online classes DO NOT require a valid study permit.

EAP4 and 5 group classes require three paying students to be held at full hours (25hrs/wk). If student numbers drop below three at any time during the course, students will be switched to 15 hours of semi-private (two students) or 12 hours of private lessons (one student).

One-Time Fees

  • $100.00 Application Fee (for first time applicants only)
  • $500 Seat Reservation Fee
  • $225.00 Books & resources per course (12 weeks)

TOTAL: $825.00

Program lesson-hours are 55 minutes in length. Booster Lessons are available for $40/hour for individuals and $70/hr for groups of two or more.

Admission Requirements

  • Completion of an Application Form
  • Completion of the Online Language Placement Test
  • Letter of Acceptance for the English course in your quote
  • Access to a laptop or tablet and high speed internet connection (if enrolled in online class)
  • Ability to join the class from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Atlantic Standard Time, Monday to Friday
  • Course Tuition paid in full prior to the start of the course
  • In-person/ on campus classes will require proof of vaccination by Canadian approved vaccines
